A Terrifying Day

         November  1 , 2011 , was a terrifying day for me. It was 9.30 on a Monday morning in my house. I was alone because my parents were out of the market. Suddenly , the rain started to suffer. The wind started to strength. The room started shake. I did not know what to do , so I got under a table. A few minutes later , I came out and tried to turn on the radio , but the electricity was off. After that , I tried the telephone but it did not work. Shortly after , My girl friend came to see if I was all right. Finally , at about 10.30 A.M. , the telephone rang. It was my father from Samutsongkram. He was more frightened then I was .

The effect of the earthquake is more intensely felt when located close to the sea. This is because the earthquake in Thailand causes the tidal waves to go abnormally high. The result is that the tidal waves wash away the low lying areas and causes great damage to the lives of specially the poor people.
